Reprint of the LP-Guide. - By Jaco van Witteloostuyn
A reprint of my book
'The Classical Long Playing Record - Design, Production, Reproduction - a comprehensive survey' is available now.
(limited edition)
This hard-back A-4, containing 550 pages and in full colour, was published in 1997 and since 2003 out of sale, but still much in demand.
The new print is more extensive because of its supplement. It comprises
550 pages instead of 500 in order to go more deeply into new subjects
such as market and money values, management, control and insurance with
reference to collections of (classical) LPs. Apart from this, an intensive
research resulted in an interesting knowledge of the so-called originals
on the Decca label. Of course, we will share this knowledge with you in
the reprint. Finally the new reprint includes a considerable extension
of the label register and further comment on some twenty labels such like
Discophiles Français, Lumen, Philips or Royale. The reprint has been produced
as the original 1997 edition: in English, the same size, hard cover with
jacket and in full colour. See the table
of contents.
